Accessories

The following certified accessories are available for use with our MiniPurge systems:

Manual Override

Used to by-pass the Ex px or 'X'-Purge system and apply electrical power to the enclosure when it is known to be non-hazardous.

MiniPurge Interface Unit (MIU)

Used when more than two poles are needed or high power is required to isolate the enclosure. Unless intrinsically safe, every source of voltage in the enclosure must be isolated until purging is complete. MIUs are available for hazardous and non-hazardous locations.

LC Piping Kit

Used inside the enclosure for connecting the purge flow sensing port of the MiniPurge to the purge relief valve, allowing the purge flow rate to be calculated. Kit consists of a 1/8” NPT x 6mm tubes and 1.5m (5ft) of 6mm nylon pipe.

MIU Mounting Kit

Used for fixing the MIU and MiniPurge to walls or directly to the top of the enclosure.

Cabinet Cooler

Expo’s Cabinet Cooler offers a unique solution for cooling pressurized enclosures - removing heat generated by the contents of the enclosure, or compensating for high ambient temperatures. Using compressed air, the Cabinet Cooler is manufactured as one complete assembly and is quick and easy to install. Its remote, electronic temperature sensor can be positioned to achieve maximum control, and its unique, one-way valve prevents leakage from the vortex exhaust when the cooler is not in operation.
