The 7XLC/ss/OV/PA/PC/D795 system from Expo is designed to make a Zone 1 (2) area into a safe area.  This system is designed in accordance with European and International standards and is certified by IECEx, ATEX and INMETRO.  This system uses a leakage compensation method of protecting the enclosure.  This method provides the user with a high purge flow rate to rid the enclosure of the hazardous gases more rapidly.  After the high purge flow rate is complete, the system switches to leakage compensation mode where it provides the needed flow to maintain a positive pressure in the enclosure.  The /PA unit comes with signal-switching capabilities built-in to interface with the motor switchgear.  MiniPurge CLAPS units are fully automatic; they have timers and control signals that will apply and disengage power based on the conditions reported by the purge system.  The unit comes complete with control unit and relief valve bundled under one part code for easy ordering.  Click here for more details.
