Expo has been successful in winning a prestigious upgrade project at a large chemical complex in Thailand. Working closely with Greenergy Serve Ltd, Expo’s partner in the region, the project was secured against strong competition. The project scope includes 9 large purged & pressurized, fully-custom enclosures to house flare control systems*. The first phase, for 3 enclosures, is currently in design at our UK facility.
Expo has a unique "design/build/certify" solution for hazardous area enclosures, that allows the client to populate the enclosures in any location and then receive certification after a successful remote inspection by Expo certification engineers.
*Gas flaring is used in refineries & chemical plants for the safe disposal of waste gases from the process. Flare control is important to control the correct operation and minimise harmful emissions.
